The location of Hotel Route-Inn is unbeatable, just a short walk from the station. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including free wi-fi. The onsen on the top floor was a relaxing treat after a long day of exploring. The breakfast buffet was satisfying and had a good variety of options. I had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Good value, nice location and service. There's lots of restaurants to choose from, like Cold Noodles Sakura, set within 5 minutes walk or so. Front desk staff was helpful. Moreover, we could park our car onsite...

I had a great stay at the hotel. The location is convenient as it is right next to the train station, which made it easy for me to explore the city. There is a supermarket next door, which I found very useful. The staff were very friendly, and the Japanese breakfast provided was exceptional. The hotel facilities and cleanliness were impressive.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

This hotel was situated right near the train station, perfect for exploring the city during our city break. The breakfast that was included was delicious and of good quality. We especially enjoyed the local flavors and unique options. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even better.
The rooms were on the smaller side and the bed was not very comfortable, causing a lack of sleep during our stay. the advertised onsen was underwhelming and did not meet our expectations.

The hotel is in a great location just a stone's throw away from the train station, which is perfect for travelers, like me, who want to be in the center of the action. The rooms, though not that huge, have a beautiful view of the bustling Yamagata city. The staff are welcoming and ensure that everything is taken care of, from the clean rooms to the sumptuous breakfast. Finally, the hot coffee provided in the lobby never runs out and the 24-hour supermarket is just around the corner.
The hotel could improve on the upkeep of the rooms and facilities to avoid any smell of smoke and sightings of pests in the future.

The breakfast spread offered at the hotel was impressive and exceeded our expectations. We were able to start the day with a full and satisfying meal. the location of the hotel was ideal as we were able to easily access the downtown amenities and nearby parks. there was a 24-hour supermarket close by which was convenient for any late night cravings.
The rooms were quite small and felt quite cramped, particularly if you had more than two people in the room. the beds were uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
